"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert on Tuesday examined Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's recent health woes — particularly her pneumonia diagnosis, which he called her "lunghazi scandal."
"This whole pneumonia saga feeds right into the narrative that Clinton's hiding things and she's too unhealthy to serve," Colbert said. "Hiding her diagnosis makes all of those Clinton conspiracies seem true. Is the Clinton Foundation really a big slush fund? Did they cover up an illicit cocaine ring? Is Hillary a blood-drinking extraterrestrial lizard in disguise?"
After taking a sick day on Monday, Clinton tweeted the following:
"Okay, she's an alien," Colbert responded. "If you're home sick the only thing I'm anxious to do is watch more 'Price is Right.'"
