Bad news for those of you who believe in controlling your own destiny, and that life isn't predetermined — it totally is! At least, that's what the Republican Party seems to think.

Before Tuesday night's vice presidential debate between Hillary Clinton's running mate, Tim Kaine, and Donald Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, the GOP sent out what was likely a draft meant for after the debate. At the same time, Clinton, who wasn't even participating in the event that had yet to take place, was determined to be the loser.

"The consensus was clear after the dust settled," the email read, "Mike Pence was the clear winner of the debate." The email listed the highlights of Pence's performance as "economy" and "highlighting Clinton's scandals." There were more stories from the debate, too.

Pence's running mate may not like the notion of telegraphing the line of attack before it happened.
