While Donald Trump promised to live-tweet the one and only vice presidential debate Tuesday evening, he was actually quick to quit his incessant retweeting just as his running mate Indiana Governor Mike Pence was on stage insisting that the notoriously thin-skinned presidential nominee had no track record of hurling insults at his political rivals. So while Pence did his best to set-up his own future political ambitions, the job of playing petty politics on social media was left to Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.

“How many times has @TimKaine ignored and interrupted the female moderator tonight? #sexist,” Conway tweeted Tuesday night. Tuesday’s vice presidential debate between Democratic Virginia Senator Tim Kaine and Pence was moderated by CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano, the first Filipina-American to moderate a general election debate.

During the debate, Quijano admonished both vice presidential nominees for repeatedly interrupting her and each other.
