Fox News host Sean Hannity continued his onslaught against his fellow cable news pundit on Wednesday, calling conservative MSNBC host Joe Scarborough "poor liberal Joe" in a tweet.

Hannity has been instigating online feuds for weeks as liberal groups have launched campaigns to get the right-wing host off the air.

Scarborough, whose friendship with President Donald Trump unnerved many "Morning Joe" viewers during the presidential campaign, has since become a harsh critic of the new administration. In January, just before Trump was inaugurated, Hannity blasted Scarborough on Twitter for pushing the Trump-Russia scandal as a Watergate-level story.

The feud renewed Wednesday when Scarborough did not let Hannity's slight go unanswered. The former GOP congressman implied in a series of tweets that Hannity had become an agent of the Kremlin.

To end the tweetstorm, Scarborough noted that Hannity has had a strange obsession with him over the years. Hannity responded to the accusation by recycling an old allegation that Scarborough had been gunning for a job at Fox News for years.

The current Fox News host then displayed some impressive projecting by calling Scarborough a "black helicopter, tin foil hate" conspiracy theorist.

As of mid-afternoon Wednesday, Scarborough, perhaps wisely, has not hit back at Hannity. The Fox News host suggested that Wednesday night's "Hannity" will feature a montage of Scarborough and his co-host, Mika Brzezinski, having a "meltdown" over the Russia investigations.

Since Trump was inaugurated, Hannity has opened many of his shows with a monologue about the mainstream media and their role in stymying much of the White House's agenda. It appears as if that trend will not change tonight.
