A group of accomplished women who have broken barriers in their industries are taking over SalonTV this week.

Tony Award-winning author, performer and activist Eve Ensler drops by to talk about her one-woman show, “In the Body of the World,” and reflects on her ground-breaking show "Vagina Monologues,” which sparked a global women’s movement. Sarah McBride, who became the first openly transgender person to address a major party political convention when she spoke at the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, brings her book, “Tomorrow Will Be Different: Love, Loss, and the Fight for Trans Equality,” to Salon.

Dessa, the truly uniquely talented singer, rapper and songwriter, brings an exclusive set to “Salon Stage.” Plus, showstopper Jake Shears, who is the lead singer of the multiplatinum-selling glam rock band Scissor Sisters and currently playing the role of Charlie Price in “Kinky Boots” on Broadway, stops by with his book “Boys Keep Swinging.” Academy Award-winning director Morgan Neville, gives a behind-the-scenes look at the mouth-watering Netflix series “Ugly Delicious,” starring James Beard Award-winning chef David Chang.
