President Donald Trump on Friday angrily lashed out at one-time “fixer” Michael Cohen, who is reportedly ready to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that the president had direct knowledge of the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian agents.

“I did NOT know of the meeting with my son, Don Jr.,” the president wrote. “Sounds to me like someone is trying to make up stories in order to get himself out of an unrelated jam (Taxi cabs maybe?).”

Trump’s mention of an “unrelated jam” refers to the legal jeopardy that Cohen now finds himself in after the FBI raided his office this past spring.

After attacking Cohen, Trump then hinted that Bill and Hillary Clinton were responsible for Cohen’s new willingness to flip on his former boss.

“He even retained Bill and Crooked Hillary’s lawyer,” he wrote, referring to longtime Clinton ally Lanny Davis. “Gee, I wonder if they helped him make the choice!”
