According to an insider at NBC, host Megyn Kelly is wearing out her welcome at the network having cashed in on a big contract after leaving Fox News following the Roger Ailes sexual harassment scandal.

Page Six is reporting that Kelly’s interview with People Magazine on the Matt Laurer departure from the network over multiple accusations of sexual harassment has set some staffers off, saying she wasn’t there and doesn’t know what she is talking about.
“I know too much that others don’t know,” Kelly told People when asked if she thought Lauer could make a comeback.
According to one insider, speaking with Page Six, “There were a lot of eye rolls. What does she really know? She’s not close to anyone here.”
“She’s milking the #MeToo movement. People are counting down the days until she’s gone,” the insider added.
Kelly has been a rare defender on the network of embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over accusations of sexual improprieties, which stands out in contrast to her leaving Fox and her critical comments about the conservative network which has been wracked by multiple sexual harassment scandals besides Ailes, including prime time star Bill O’Reilly.
