MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski on Monday referred to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as a “butt boy” for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.
During a “Morning Joe” segment, Brzezinski wondered why Pompeo would support Mohammad Bin Salman after he was implicated in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
“I understand that Donald Trump doesn’t care,” Brzezinski said. “He doesn’t care. But why doesn’t Mike Pompeo care right now? Are the pathetic deflections that we just heard when he appeared on “Fox & Friends” — is that a patriot speaking? Or a wannabe dictator’s butt boy?”
At that point, the MSNBC control room cut the audio for a second but missed Brzezinski’s slur.
“I’m dead serious,” she continued. “I’m asking, are these the words of a patriot?”
