President Donald Trump released a blistering statement on the continuing Jeffrey Epstein saga, blaming Democrats, referring to the scandal as “bulls**t,” and calling those who care about the investigation, including his supporters, “weaklings.”

“The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again,” the post began. It went on to compare the scandal with the Steele Dossier and included digs at Hillary Clinton, Hunter Biden, and the Democrats’ policies.

Trump called the scandal a “SCAM” by the Democrats, referring to it as “the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax.”

“My PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls**t,” Trump wrote. “Hook, line, and sinker.”

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work,” he continued. “I don’t want their support anymore!”

Trump’s statement, posted to Truth Social, is the latest in the president’s continued efforts to mitigate the extreme political fallout from his administration’s findings on the Epstein case.

At a press conference in the Oval Office later on Wednesday, Trump doubled down on his statement. “It was a hoax,” he told reporters. “It‘s all been a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net … I call it the Epstein hoax.”

MAGA world has been thrown into chaos since Attorney General Pam Bondi’s memo denying the existence of Epstein’s client list. Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with the incredulity from his base, calling concerned supporters “selfish.”

“Are you still talking about Epstein?” Trump asked reporters in a cabinet meeting on July 8. “This guy has been talked about for years. Are people still talking about this creep? I can’t believe you’re asking a question about Epstein.”
