To canine enthusiasts, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is like the Super Bowl and Oscars cross-bred into one Pekingese-size package. The annual event, now in its 135th iteration, includes more than 2,500 animals across 179 breeds. The competition began last night and will crown its Best in Show this evening. We've collected images of some of the breeds turning heads this year. Flip through the photos and then impress friends with your ability to tell a whippet from a Cane Corso.
