Amy Friedman

Amy Friedman is the author of two memoirs, the syndicated column "Tell Me a Story" and writer/producer of the "Tell Me a Story" audiobook series, winner of a 2010 Audie Award. This piece is excerpted and adapted from her recently completed memoir, "Desperado’s Wife." Amy lives and teaches creative writing in Los Angeles.
