Cynthia Ryan

Cynthia Ryan is associate professor of English at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her work has appeared in the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and Cancer Today, and she is co-editor of "The Rhetoric of Health and Medicine As/Is: Theories and Approaches for the Field" (forthcoming from Ohio State University Press). She also serves as associate editor for Rhetoric of Health and Medicine Journal.
