Danilyn Rutherford

Danilyn Rutherford served on the faculty of the University of Chicago and the University of California, Santa Cruz before becoming the president of the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research. She is the author of the forthcoming memoir “Beautiful Mystery: Living in a Wordless World,” which will be published by Duke University Press on September 30, 2025.
