Do Premium subscribers receive a different newsletter?
Premium subscribers receive the same newsletter as non-subscribers, except that ad-free subscribers don't see any advertisements in the newsletter. If you're a Premium subscriber and would like to sign up for the Premium version of the newsletter, please go to this page, change your preferences, and click the "Save Account Settings" button.
Why do I have to submit personal information in order to receive the newsletter?
We require that you submit some personal information in order to receive the free version of the newsletter so that we can tailor more relevant marketing messages to you. The personal information that we collect is only utilized in the aggregate so advertisers do not have access to any individual data and cannot contact you.
Our newsletter registration and confirmation pages may also contain other offers to receive messages from specific advertisers or other third parties. If you choose to opt in to receive such messages, your e-mail address will be shared with those specific advertisers or third parties, and Salon will have no control over the messages that you receive from them.
