Cheney's got a gun, again

Our friends at Think Progress are up with an important warning for readers in New York's Hudson River Valley: Vice President Dick Cheney will be hunting there this weekend.

The Poughkeepsie Journal says Cheney is no stranger to the area. He planned to hunt there in October 2005 but canceled the trip after his chief of staff, Scooter Libby, was indicted. But Cheney went right ahead with his hunting plans in October 2001, a little more than a month after terrorists attacked the United States.

To be fair, Cheney has never actually shot anyone in New York -- at least as far as we know.
