On Roswell (9 p.m., WB), Liz thinks a substitute teacher is a government alien hunter out to bag Max, Isabel and Michael. Rich boys are suspected in the death of a rich girl on Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC). MTV's newsmagazine True Life (10 p.m., MTV) profiles hackers.

The TV movie Lethal Vows (9 p.m., CBS) stars John Ritter in creepy mode as a man whose new wife suspects him of poisoning his first wife. Also starring Marg Helgenberger and Megan Gallagher.
