On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), Dawn freaks when she learns her true identity. Grizzled shock-rocker Alice Cooper -- fresh from the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, honest -- puts on his makeup and S/M drag for a guest spot on That '70s Show (8 p.m., Fox). Former British POWs recall efforts to break out of the Nazi prison at Colditz Castle on Nova (8 p.m., PBS, check local times) -- maybe the cast of The Mole (8 p.m., ABC) should watch and learn. Frasier and Niles try to revive the career of a washed-up Shakespearean actor (guest Derek Jacobi) on Frasier (9 p.m., NBC). Dharma is attracted to a hunky college professor (guest Kevin Sorbo) on Dharma and Greg (9 p.m., ABC). Frontline (10 p.m., PBS, check local times) presents "Saving Elián," a look back at the passions inflamed by the Elián González affair.


Burt Reynolds directed and starred in The Last Producer (9 p.m., USA), a movie-industry satire that was intended to play in theaters but ended up on cable instead. Watch and you'll see why. Benjamin Bratt, Lauren Holly and Ann-Margret costar.
