You can dance to it

You are either really tired by now of hearing about Howard Dean's funky scream -- and your inbox full of car alarms and dance mixes -- or you can't get enough. For those getting guilty pleasure from listening to the "I Have a Scream" speech and its various pop culture incarnations, MTV News collects several danceworthy Dean-inspired tunes on one page.

"That 'Yeeeeeeah!' figures prominently in many of the remixes, mostly created by resourceful college students and blog enthusiasts, such as the high-energy house version ('US Tour (Chris Flyer Remix)'), the funky horn mix, (Jonathan Barlow's 'Howarddean') and the Ministry-like alarm call version (James Lileks' 'Yeaahg'). Metal band Viral Solstice even made their own hardcore punk tweak, 'Hardcoredean.'"

For his part, Dean did damage control today, saying his over-the-top performance was proof of his passion. "Look, I'm not a perfect person," he said. "I have my warts. I sometimes say things that get me in trouble. I wear suits that are cheap. But I say what I think and I believe what I say, and I'm willing to say things that are not popular but ordinary people know are right."
