Clark for Kerry

Wes Clark has been out of the presidential race for just a day or so, but he's already picked a favorite from the few contenders who remain. Clark will endorse John Kerry at a campaign stop in Wisconsin tomorrow, the AP reports.

In other endorsement news, the Des Moines Register says Howard Dean may soon lose backer Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin, who stood by him through his loss in Iowa -- and behind him onstage during the fateful "scream" speech.

"I think there comes a point when you have to recognize reality," said Harkin, a Democrat. "I understand he made the commitment to go to Wisconsin, but I think at some point there's going to have to be a reckoning here." He said after Wisconsin, "we'll have to see what happens."
