Stalking celebrity donations

The Fundrace Web site is a nifty little tool that allows you to search for political donors by name and address. With the help of the search engine, you can do political reconnaissance on your neighbors. Do they get a dinner party invite, or will their political leanings ruin the dynamics? But even more fun, you can see which celebrities have donated to which political candidates in the last year. A blogger named Tim Blair plugged in a bunch of famous names and discovered that: Mary Hart hearts George W. Bush. Charlize Theron gave it up for John Kerry (Isn't she South African?). Mr. Spock is a Deaniac. O.J.'s Dream Team lawyer Johnnie Cochran gave to dreamy John Edwards. Casey Kasem shelled out $250 for the similarly coiffed Dennis Kucinich. And, Will & Grace's Debra Messing felt the Joe-mentum.

Blair has a lot more celeb donations, and you can try plugging in your own famous name. For the celebrity stalkers out there, this site also gives street addresses.
