Sleazy, swaggering, sweat-dripping dance rock from much-hyped Brit band Kasabian.

It's easy to be impressed by Kasabian's sleazy, swaggering, sweat-dripping Madchester-via-Primal Scream dance rock, but you'd have to work overtime to be as blown away by them as they themselves seem to be. Quoth Kasabian singer Tom Meighan: "The Managing director of RCA came to one of our shows and I looked him in the eye and told him we were going to be the biggest band in the world." One of the things that's gotten people all hot and bothered (in a good way) about Kasabian's music is the way they're adding electronics into rock (DJ Shadow is cited as a major influence), but in truth there's nothing all that new, or all that dazzling, about the way they incorporate electronics into their music. But even if they don't rock quite as hard as they think they do, they still rock. "Club Foot" is the lead single off of their self-titled debut.
