Specter: What have you done, anyway?

The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee says he'll need to talk with Miers to find out how much she's said and written before.

One sign of how little anyone knows about Harriet Miers: At a televised meet-and-greet with Miers a few minutes ago, Senate Judicary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter said he'd be sitting down with Miers today to "try to get a better idea of how many speeches she's given, how many articles she's written, how many cases she's argued" in order to get an idea of how much work the Judiciary Committee will need to do in preparation for confirmation hearings.
