Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee Pat Roberts, R-Kan., appeared Sunday on a special "Meet the Press" devoted to the wiretapping scandal, where he defended the White House, claiming that he had been fully briefed on the NSA's domestic spying plan, and that he supports it in general. But all we could think of while watching Roberts, who is allegedly up to speed on this country's shadowy world of spooks and bugs, was how we wanted to immediately take the guy out, slip a little Bailey's in his Ensure and see if we could get him to spill. How hard could it be?
