A federal judge in Florida has just sentenced GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff to five years and 10 months in prison -- the minimum he could have received under his plea deal -- for his role in a business fraud case there. Abramoff is yet to be sentenced in the case against him in Washington; his prison sentence in the Florida case won't begin immediately so that he can continue to cooperate with prosecutors in the capital.
