"An Inconvenient Truth"? Doubt it. "United 93"? Bring it on

The president picks his movies carefully.

Somebody asked George W. Bush the other day whether he planned to see Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth." The president's two-word response: "Doubt it."

But don't get the wrong impression. The president seems to love movies, at least when the White House can use the watching of them as a way to remind everyone that we're in a war against international terrorists. At the White House Tuesday night, the president and the first lady watched the 9/11 film "United 93," and they invited family members of some of the people on that flight to watch the movie with them. "The president has always said that those who were on the flight ... were heroes," a White House spokeswoman said.
