Here's another song from the Numero Group's Big Mack Label compilation, not quite as jarringly strange as the first song I posted, but certainly the gem of the collection. Bob Thomas and Fred Brown were two of the walk-ins taking advantage of Big Mack's offer to record a song for $14.95 with the label's own backing band as accompaniment. But label owner Ed McCoy liked what he heard so much that he had them rehearse for weeks, resulting in one of the more gorgeous double vocal performances you'll ever hear.
