This outtake from the DVD of last year's train wreck TV series"Britney & Kevin: Chaotic," has weirdly caused a media furor. London's Daily Mail claimed: "A bizarre video of Britney Spears belching and ranting at her husband has shocked fans worldwide." Drudge blasted word of it over the weekend. On YouTube, the video has recorded half a million viewings. To us, it seems a lot less shocking than most of what we saw on "Chaotic," where two very good-looking young stars (OK, one, with her hanger-on boyfriend) managed to both look awful and act stupid in nearly every single frame.
More of that here: Relentlessly attacking some takeout while intermittently bursting out with an inspired "Huh!?" Britney seems stoned (at least, let's hope). Our favorite line, though, comes from the shrewd Mr. Federline, while he patiently explains to his wife why traversing the time-space continuum is a bad idea. Kevin: Can you imagine how many people would go back and try and change shit?
I bet she's got a pretty good idea now.
