Jim Baker declined to say Wednesday whether he thought George W. Bush could bring himself to reverse course on Iraq, and Sandra Day O'Connor -- who served on Baker's Iraq Study Group -- said that that part of the equation is really "out of our hands" now.

No kidding.

CBS News asked a White House spokesman whether the president would like Baker to help him implement the recommendations in the ISG report. The snippy response: "Jim Baker can go back to his day job."
