Clinton's answer to Oprah?

Now endorsing Hillary: Barbra Streisand.

If he uses a fist, you use a bat. If he uses a knife, you use a gun. If he uses Oprah Winfrey, you use ... Barbra Streisand?

In the latest round of anything you can do, I can do better, the Clinton campaign just announced Streisand is endorsing Hillary Clinton for president. It's not exactly a surprise. While Streisand gave money to each of the top three Democratic contenders earlier this year, saying that she was "very excited about the strength of the Democratic field for the 2008 presidential election" and "looking forward to a lively and healthy primary debate that discusses the key issues facing this country," she's a longtime friend of the Clintons' and turned up in March at a Hollywood fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Streisand says Clinton has already "transcended the dictates of what is thought to be possible for our time" and is now "ready to shatter" the "glass ceiling for all women." No word yet on whether Streisand will campaign with Clinton, and it's hard to imagine that she'd bring the current-day star power of Winfrey if she did.
