Outside Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester, N.H., today, Rudy Giuliani was asked whether he was worried about the polls. Somehow managing to avoid a 9/11 reference, "America's Mayor" pointed to the church and said, "The only poll I'm interested in is the one that goes on inside there."

As the Associated Press ever so gently notes, "That wasn't exactly so." In a visit to his New Hampshire headquarters today, Giuliani claimed that he leads in the polls in 15 states.

None of them, of course, being New Hampshire.
