If you like lots of running and shouting and things that go "Kablooey!" then you're not going to want to miss "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (9 p.m. EST on Fox), which fills its regular time slot tonight after Sunday night's premiere. The angst-ridden, rebellious teenager and beleaguered single mom you came to know and love from the movie are here, along with the usual slew of time-traveling deadly robots spraying automatic gunfire wherever they go. Aside from the dashing, dodging, jumping and blowing stuff to bits, though, there's not a whole lot to hold our attention. The characters are thin and the story amounts to one chase scene after another -- which might be fine for a two-hour movie, but it doesn't exactly work for a TV show. On the plus side for Fox, this series doesn't need writers once the new episodes run out; all it needs is lots of stuff to blow sky-high.

Also…

New episodes of "Prison Break" (8 p.m. EST on Fox) and "Kyle XY" (8 p.m. EST on ABC Family) await, along with National Geographic's "Unabomber: The Secret History" (8 p.m. EST), which profiles the strange life of Ted Kaczynski. PBS's "American Experience" (premieres at 9 p.m. EST, check listings) launches with "Oswald's Ghost," an examination of JFK's assassination and its surrounding conspiracy theories, followed by a new episode of "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" (10 p.m. EST on the Travel Channel), which sees the eclectic chef head to Berlin for his usual food and booze extravaganza.
