Thought for the opening day of RNC

Imagining the media fallout if the pregnancy news were on the other side of the partisan ledger.

Here's a little thought experiment: Imagine that Joe Biden was an admitted former pot smoker whose wife had a DUI on her record and that his unwed, teenage daughter were pregnant right now -- oh, and that Biden was an advocate for sex education in school.

Rushbo & company would be going ballistic right now about the corrupting influence of those coastal values, wouldn't they?

P.S.: Both the first lady and the possible first lady-to-be will be addressing the convention tonight in St. Paul. Wonder if either will take a moment to congratulate the Palin family, and Bristol specifically, on the big news.
