Obama ad hits McCain's "I am not President Bush" comment

The campaign's post-debate spot returns to an old theme, tying the two Republicans together -- and takes advantage of McCain's expressions in the debate.

Barack Obama's latest, post-debate ad treads mostly along familiar lines, tying John McCain to fellow Republican George W. Bush. The spot does that much pretty well, employing humor to good effect. But it's also interesting to see how the Obama camp used debate footage this time around, making the most of some of McCain's dismissive facial expressions.

You can watch it for yourself below, but I think the choice of images is interesting -- the campaign didn't pick the times when he looked angry so much as the times when he looked perplexed.
