The Chicago Trib reports that Barack Obama’s Secret Service code name is “Renegade.” (Question: A code name is not necessarily like a password, but shouldn’t it be kept secret?)
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is Renaissance, Malia is Radiance and Sasha is Rosebud. I’m told there is a pattern, here but I cannot seem to figure it out — even with the help of the decoder ring I got from my box of Super Sugar Crisp.
Is “renegade” a fitting noun for Obama? I suppose. Still, my choice would have been “Hopemonger.”
