Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 4 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 pounds raw cashews
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, heat the oil.
- Add the spices and stir for 2 minutes to toast.
- Remove from heat, add the cashews, and toss until the nuts are coated thoroughly.
- Arrange the cashews in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the nuts are browned, turning once.
