CNN anchor unimpressed by Palin history lesson

Bemused Brooke Baldwin tries not to laugh at Sarah Palin's halting narrative of Paul Revere's ride

Published June 3, 2011 7:47PM (EDT)

Stopping in Boston yesterday in the course of her One Nation bus tour, Sarah Palin treated her audience to a litte American history ("little" being the operative word), giving the following description of Paul Revere:

He who warned, uh, the ... British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed.

As Mediaite was quick to note, CNN's Brooke Baldwin didn't find this narrative particularly profound (and she wasn't the only one). Don't miss her expression after the Palin clip plays.
