On “The Late Show” last night, David Letterman counted down the top 10 worst excuses given by politicians, inspired by Paul Ryan’s comment that it would take “too long to go through all the math” of Mitt Romney’s plan to cut taxes for all Americans. Among the excuses: “Too much White House beer,” “figured it was legal in Kentucky,” and the No. 1 reason, “she knew I had wooden teeth.”
