Last week, the University of Maryland gave the world a crazy, intensely angry email that went viral, introducing America to its new favorite sorority girl. The email, reprimanding the sisters of the university’s Delta Gamma sorority for being “boring,” begins: “If you just opened this like I told you to, tie yourself down to whatever chair you’re sitting in, because this email is going to be a rough fucking ride.”
It ends: “Go fuck yourself.”
This week, “Boardwalk Empire” and “Revolutionary Road” actor Michael Shannon has heightened the comedy with a dramatic reading of the letter.
