Watch Willie Nelson audition for the role of Gandalf
The singer-songwriter put together a tape for Peter Jackson with the help of Conan O'Brien

With the help of Conan O'Brien, country singer Willie Nelson is
auditioning for the role of Gandalf in "Hobbit 2."
On his unsolicited audition tape, he says, "You can hire me and fire that Ian McKellen guy. He's a good actor, but hell, I'm Willie Nelson. Oh yeah -- and now that I think about it, I'd make a great Magneto."
