Stunning national park photos to get you through the shutdown

National parks are closed until further notice. Forunately, the U.S. Department of the Interior is on Instagram

Starting today and for the duration of the government shutdown -- however long that may be -- America's national parks are officially closed to tourists, hikers, campers and amateur photographers alike. Not even the National Park Service website is accessible.

Fortunately for us, the U.S. Department of the Interior has been collecting photos of the parks through its still-open Instagram account. Most of us can take them as a taunting reminder of what we're missing. Maybe those responsible for getting us into this mess can use them as inspiration for getting us back out of it.
