Colorado celebrates the legalization of marijuana

While 150,000 devout Christians gather to observe Mass on Easter Sunday, halfway across the world, tens of thousands devout pot smokers gathered in Denver to celebrate something far less holy: 4/20.

The organizers of Denver's 420 Rally estimate that about 37,000 attendees have come to the free festival this year, more than double last year's turnout. This is the first year the weekend-long festival is open to anyone over the age of 21, since Colorado became the first state to legalize marijuana in January.

The festival hosts a marijuana industry expo, the Cannabis Cup, which has designated areas for people to smoke weed (smoking marijuana in public is still illegal in Colorado). Snoop Dog and Wyclef Jean are among the performers, playing to crowds where CBS reports that "clouds of cannabis smoke are expected to waft at 4:20 p.m. MDT Sunday."

Here's a 30-minute video of the rally, showing people who enjoying their Easter Sunday way more than you are:
