Last night Conor Oberst dropped by "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to promote his new album "Upside Down Mountain." The "Bright Eyes" frontman, along with the band Dawes, played the song "Zigzagging Towards the Light."

Oberst, who has been performing and recording music since his teens, also explained the first show he ever saw: his father's cover band The Manville Band. According to Oberst, seeing his father perform in the band was also his first performance experience. He explains that there is video evidence of him, at age six, singing a song from the movie "La Bamba."
