WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Archives plans to release more documents from former President Bill Clinton's administration on Friday just days ahead of the release of Hillary Rodham Clinton's new book.

The White House papers have been closely watched as the former secretary of state and New York senator considers a second presidential campaign. Her new book on her State Department years, "Hard Choices," is being released on Tuesday.

Previous installments of White House records have covered the Clinton administration's unsuccessful health care overhaul proposal, Republicans' sweeping victories in the 1994 elections and efforts by the former first lady's aides to boost her public image.

More than 15,000 pages of records have been released since February. The papers are being disseminated through the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark.
