Twitter perfectly responds to the revelation of Uber's shady sabotage

Uber has allegedly been sabotaging competitor, Lyft, and folks on Twitter have some strong words for the company

Today the Verge published a damning account of Uber's alleged dirty tactics against competitors, specifically Lyft. The company before has stated that they're willing and ready to sling mud, and with $1.5 billion in venture capital and at least two former political titans working for them, the ride-sharing company is certainly capable of doing damage.

Now we know specifics of a program that the Verge reports is named SLOG, and includes "arming teams of independent contractors with burner phones and credit cards" to request Lyft drivers and then attempt to recruit them to Uber. Yep, it's petty sabotage from a company attempting to make taxis out as "assholes," while branding itself as the shining, "disrupting" transportation of the future.

The sheep's clothing is off; trying to weed out your competition is hardly "sharing" or particularly innovative -- especially when stated that there needs to be competition with taxi companies.
