Thursday's late-night television line-up was basically back-to-back hot takes on Deflate-gate, the scandal plaguing the New England Patriots in which 11 of the 12 balls in the Patriots-Colts AFC championship game were below regulation, making the balls easier to grip and classifying as CHEATING. The actual deflating of the balls is being pinned on an unidentified locker room attendant, but on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" several well-known Bostonians took the fall.
"I am the locker room guy," says Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Chris Evans, Steven Tyler and others.
"Let me ask you a question, alright?" says Affleck in a thick Boston accent. "Who are you gonna believe: Tom Brady, the greatest man in all of humanity, or a bunch of assholes on Twitter?"
