David Letterman’s final goodbye, for real: What Broadway looks like without his famous marquis

It had to happen: The big marquis announcing the home of the “Late Show with David Letterman” has been removed from the Ed Sullivan Theater. It had been a landmark and tourist destination since the show moved there in 1993.
