Appearing as a guest on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” last night, future “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah gave us a little taste of the sort of political humor we should expect from him when he takes over the reins from Jon Stewart on September 28th. After prompting Colbert to ask him a “policy” question, Noah responded with a 25-second imitation of the sort of inelegant, nonsensical responses that dominated Wednesday's Republican debate.

“We’re all greats in this country," Noah riffed, in his best American accent. "Greatness. And the taxes we need to… with Iran, if we look at what’s happening… Obamacare, no… I think we try to find a place where this is a great country… America. Unity. Justice. Together. Thank you very much."
