Less than 24 hours after arriving at the Kentucky Juvenile Detention Center, 16-year- old Gynna McMillen was found dead while imprisoned, CBS News reported.
Investigators have determined that no foul play was involved and officials believe the teen passed away in her sleep and may have suffered from a heart condition.
But McMillen's family is struggling to understand why she was alone in her cell and how she could have died with frequent cell checks — and they are demanding justice.
