Ted Cruz deals with Trump-less debate by channeling the Donald at his worst

Texas Senator Ted Cruz kicked off the GOP's Trump-less Iowa debate by getting a little something out of the way -- Donald Trump.

"I'm a maniac," he said, impersonating the current front-runner, "and everyone on this stage is stupid, fat, and ugly."

Turning to neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Cruz said "Ben, you're a terrible surgeon."

"Now," he concluded, "we've got the Donald Trump portion out of the way."
