Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter isn’t very happy that her candidate, Donald Trump, came in a distant second in last night’s Iowa caucuses, and as is her wont, she took Twitter to share her grief:
I hope Trump wins, but even Reagan lost Iowa. ON TO NH, WHERE I'LL BE SPEAKING AT A TRUMP EVENT TOMORROW! Tickets – https://t.co/M33UFxEFzi

Trump is the leading GOP vote-getter tonight, among natural-born-American candidates.

That would be a not-so-subtle dig at the legitimacy of Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz’s campaigns, as she apparently believes that neither of them fit the “natural-born-American” qualification for the presidency — meaning that in her world, Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, and Senator Rand Paul came in first, second and third in yesterday’s caucuses.
Not that she doesn’t have other problems with Rubio and Cruz, but she saves her special ire for Rubio, perhaps because he’s the candidate the GOP establishment is most likely to rally behind:
The only scandal bigger than Hillary's denial of her email scandal is Rubio's denial of his support for amnesty.

Based upon exit polls, Rubio seems to have gotten the lion's share of the Prevaricating Little Weasel vote.

Fox is slyly denigrating Cruz by ignoring him. IT APPEARS HE'S ABOUT TO WIN. But it's all hands on deck for the sweaty little Mario.

Iowa is a state designed for candidates like Cruz and Rubio. It would be amazing if Trump pulled it off (before he wins NH and SC).

She clearly wasn’t happy with Fox News yesterday either, claiming that the channel that made a Trump presidency imaginable was now actively plotting against the candidate:
GOPs just show up & vote. Fox trying to suppress Trump vote by telling 1st time caucusers that GOPs bicker all nite. https://t.co/9UTwAGYpdf

Who's gonna break it to grinning little Marco that in the real world, 3rd place = participation trophy?

She seemed in better spirits when she awoke, however:
Apparently Jeb plans to trudge on into NH, though I hear the exclamation point will be suspending its campaign…
